Your music, on the record
Suede AI IP Registry:the ID and trust layer for music.
Suede AI IP Registry is a public provenance registry that gives every finished work one verifiable ID. Distribution, streaming platforms, the musician, and every derivative can point to the same record, and anyone can check it without asking Suede.
Fingerprint a finished file, sign a creator claim, list contributors, and file a timestamped record in about two minutes. Keep the asset hash and transaction link with your project records.
Registration is live on Base and Avalanche mainnet. A record is a timestamped, wallet-signed claim. It is not proof of copyright ownership.

Article I · The trust layer
One ID for every work.
Every party can check it.
A song passes through a distributor, lands on streaming platforms, carries its musician's name, and gets remixed, covered, and sampled. Each of them keeps its own list. The registry gives the work one public ID that all four can point to and anyone can verify, without asking Suede.
The chain of record
Four parties · one public ID
01 · Distribution
The release goes out.
Asks
Which master is this, and who stands behind it?
The registry gives it
A fixed ID for the master before release day. Keep the fingerprint and transaction link with the release files, and the version that ships can be checked against a dated public claim.
Anchor live02 · Streaming platforms
Listeners press play.
Asks
Who made this, and when did they claim it?
The registry gives it
A lookup anyone can run without asking Suede: creator wallet, contributors, timestamp, and lineage, readable on two public blockchains.
Lookup live03 · Musician
The work is claimed.
Asks
Who made it, who worked on it, and what did they declare?
The registry gives it
A wallet-signed creator claim listing the contributors and a rights declaration, timestamped in about two minutes for about a cent.
Live04 · Derivatives
The work travels.
Asks
What did this remix, cover, sample, or AI-assisted version come from?
The registry gives it
Each derivative is registered as its own work, then linked to its parent on-chain, so where it came from is part of its record.

One ID under all four.

Anyone can verify it, and Suede cannot quietly edit or backdate it. It is provenance evidence, not a copyright registration and not proof of legal ownership.
Article II · Registration
Two minutes,
then the claim is public.
A public register of music provenance, not a private draft.
Upload it
Any finished file: a song, a stem, lyrics, artwork. The registry reads it and gives it a fingerprint: a unique ID that only your exact file can produce.
It’s written down
The exact-file fingerprint, claimant wallet, rights declaration, contributors, and timestamp go into a public record that Suede cannot quietly edit or backdate.
You hold the certificate
The receipt stays in your account and shows what that wallet claimed and when. It is provenance evidence, not copyright registration or proof of legal ownership.

From Suede AI Distro
$7.99/moIndependent distribution, sold separately.
A standalone release rail for finished music.
Suede AI Distro is a separate $7.99/mo subscription covering release intake and delivery coordination through supported distribution partners; store coverage and eligibility vary. Suede adds no percentage commission to distributor-reported royalties, though DSP, distributor, payment, tax, and optional-service deductions may still apply. Distro does not create a registry record or a Rights Passport. Registering a work here is a separate step.

The crypto,
for those who want it.
The registry's records live on two public blockchains. That is what makes them permanent and impossible to quietly edit. You do not have to touch this layer: signing up creates a simple wallet for you, and fees run about a cent. But everything is in the open. If you're technical, verify it yourself.

Inquiries
Asked by musicians.
No. If you can upload a file, you can register. Signing up creates a simple smart wallet for you: no seed phrases, nothing to install. Fees are typically about a cent. The blockchain layer is there if you want it, invisible if you don’t.
No rights transfer through registration. It creates a wallet-signed claim, file fingerprint, contributor splits, and timestamp. That is provenance evidence, not proof of creation you’d file with the Copyright Office, and not proof of legal ownership.
Songs, stems, beats, lyrics, artwork, photos, video, 3D models, code, datasets, even voice models. If it’s a file, it can be fingerprinted and registered.
Not today. The registry records provenance: a file fingerprint, a wallet-signed claim, contributor splits, and a timestamp. Licensing is negotiated and signed off-platform, and your record is the evidence you bring to that conversation.
A registry record can state whether you offer AI training consent and under what terms. It cannot technically prevent unauthorized scraping or training. It gives you a dated, public record of what you claimed and when.
No. The registry provides tamper-evident evidence of a file fingerprint, wallet-signed claim, contributors, and timestamp. For statutory benefits in the US, use the Copyright Office.
